O své práci říká

Growing up, I never envisioned myself as a teacher. I came to teaching quite recently, earning my CELTA in Prague last year. I’m very privileged to work at a great school, with great students and colleagues. What makes teaching so exciting for me is that every time I plan a lesson, deliver a lesson, tutor a student, or just chat with a student, I’m teaching, but I’m also learning—about English, about teaching, about the Czech Republic. My students and colleagues are always motivating me to learn and improve myself. It’s been a privilege and an honor to help students of all ages work towards their goals in life.

Co dělá, když právě neučí:

I’m afraid right now my life is pretty boring when I’m not teaching! I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree at California State University, which takes up much of my free time. Still, I always manage to read books, watch films, and follow my favorite sports, especially football, baseball, and American football. Later this year, I will begin studying Czech, watching hockey, and riding a fixed-gear bike (I used to be a bicycle messenger in NYC, so I’m not afraid of the winters!).
